| Artist Lisa and Jim Krause created Deux Bijoux-Bijoux, which if sung rights, sounds like a favorite Frank Sinatra song. The translation of the French name literally means “two jewels-jewels” – which represents the artists. Jim and Lisa have been together since 1999 and have a wonderful time developing and exploring their combined talents. They are empty-nesters and share their home and studio in the Ozarks with a menagerie of four-legged and feathered friends. Their studio at Dovetail Farms in Arkansas represents a manifestation of their dreams. Their work is an eclectic blend of whimsical and functional pieces that make people smile. It is created with imagination and a great deal of heart. Most work has been created with their tongues planted firmly in their cheeks. Lisa creates the original images and Jim reproduces these images on tiles, wood and fabric. Each of the plaques and tiles is hand-crafted and travels through an eight stage production process. Each is created individually and signed by the artists. They love what they do and hope you do as well. Their work is their passion and their hope is to sell their work to those looking for unique, distinctive and funky pieces. |
