| Pat Kochan is famous for her beautiful watercolors of historic Dallas landmarks which are featured in her book "Once Upon a Time in Dallas". Since the 1960s she has painted hundreds of paintings of downtown Dallas, some fondly nostalgic, some realistic. Her works evoke memories of the way Dallas "used to be", created from her own memory or from photos and sketches she has done. Studio 2600 is proud to have a custom watercolor of our former storefront by this talented artist. Her pieces hang in the Belo Mansion, the Trammell Crow Center, the Fairmount hotel and in many private collections. When Pat isn't painting, she can be found teaching classes at the Artisan's Studio in Farmer's Branch or on the golf course. |
