| Dallas artist, Pam Firra's objective is to create original artwork that excites the owner with vibrant color and a bit of whimsy. She starts with a vision to create gemstones crosses, flowers and horseshoes in a way that had never been seen before. Rugged and romantic each piece has a personality. That personality develops as the beads are woven together mixing textures, characteristics of gemstones and wire composition. A mix of medias is the inspiration that drives her imagination. Pam uses a variety of materials such as fine glass beads, semi-precious and other unique stones in her work. To keep her art fresh, she hand builds each frame and never measures in the hope that no two are ever quite the same. Pam states "I make objects that hold cultural and religious significance to those who collect and wear them. I fill them with color and light, and just as in life, part of the beauty is that no two are the same." |
